Even if I didn’t have a solid plan, in the back of my head, I always assumed I’d kill myself.

Now I’m an adult and people my age have their lives in order and I’m stuck here, confused, because I never planned to be alive and I’m so far behind.

I feel like I’ll never catch up.

Hey all.

So an update.

I made this post over a year ago.

In that year, I’ve published books on trauma and my story. I’ve got accepted to go to university. I’m going to be a social worker.

My message to you is if you didn’t think you’d make it this far. That’s okay. You still have time.

I’m getting my life together and you can too. Trust me.
