This kinda shit makes me simultaneously feel “the bar is too low” and also “but we still have to say this shit because LOOK AT THE STATE OF AFFAIRS WE ARE IN.”

It scares me that women are reinforcing this because it means that they expect to be abused by men and are dismissing it as a part of growing up.
